FA Upgrades for an Essential Service

In a high security and occupied building, AM-TECH efficiently replaced the courthouse’s entire fire alarm system and emergency evacuation devices, providing a new 2 stage addressable fire alarm system complete with a network riser, supervisor panels, and remote annunciation. AM-TECH’s extensive knowledge and experience with essential service projects allowed us to execute the phased construction of the emergency system upgrades without disturbing the facility’s occupants or operations. New devices were commissioned as old devices were uninstalled in order to maintain all fire safety systems and allow the facility to remain operational throughout the entire project. In addition to FA upgrades, AM-TECH modernized the building’s electrical distribution and refurbished motor control centres, replacing air-circuit breakers in the main distribution switchboard, coordinated protective devices, ark flash studies, and fault current capacities over current trip settings.
