AM-TECH’s extensive experience in developing unique solutions to conform to tight schedules is highlighted in our complete fit-up of the Hudson’s Bay in Rideau Centre where we creatively utilized efficient fabrication and installation techniques in outdated existing electrical conditions.
This project involved the complete demolition and fit-up including a fire alarm system, distribution, branch power and lighting/lighting control in an existing, occupied heritage building with both wood and concrete structure including asbestos. AM-TECH also installed security wiring and camera wiring which led back to a designated security point. AM-TECH provided cost savings by utilizing creative prefabrication techniques for pre-wire lighting, walls and panels while remaining on schedule and overcoming the existing outdated electrical conditions with ease.
Due to the occupied site and limited timeline, Mr. Tapper (Vice President of HBC Construction), was extremely impressed when AM-TECH completed the base contract in a timely fashion and consistently remained on schedule despite helping overcome numerous ESA deficiencies caused by the age of the building and state of the historic wiring.
