The Queensway Carleton Hospital’s Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center is an institution specialized in radiotherapy and chemotherapy – a beautiful structure aimed to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed while providing quality treatment using state-of-the-art medical equipment. Consequently, AM-TECH took pride in its contributions in the ground-up construction of the brand-new facility due to our meticulous and thorough installation of advanced power distribution that consistently supports a myriad of medical devices, lighting, and more.
The construction of a brand-new cancer centre at the Queensway Carleton Hospital required AM-TECH to efficiently complete an entire design-build in a live occupied facility while conforming to strict infection control protocols. The hospital provides tertiary acute care specializing in cancer therapy; consequently, AM-TECH exercised great caution and care with the installation of top-grade technology and electrical materials such that all hospital equipment was guaranteed 100% electrical power reliability for its life-saving functions.
